Circadin commonly used for the short-term treatment of primary insomnia in individuals over the age of 55.

How does this treatment work?
Circadin’s active ingredient is melatonin, a type of hormone produced naturally in the body by the pineal gland. Melatonin works to control the body’s circadian rhythms and promote sleep. Circadin tablets are prolonged-release tablets. They are designed to release melatonin slowly and continuously over the course of several hours.
Who can use it?
It has been shown to reduce the time it takes to fall asleep in people over the age of 55, while also improving sleep quality and morning alertness.
